Nutritional Therapy is an approach that honors our bio-individuality and focuses on our individual genetic makeup, lifestyle, and our unique needs. Generally, the Nutritional Therapy approach aims to balance the six foundational pillars of health: diet, digestion, blood sugar handling, fatty acid balance, mineral balance, and hydration. By addressing foundational areas specific to your needs, the body will heal, nutritional imbalances and deficiencies will improve, and overall health will be optimized.
However, since we focus on the needs of each individual, there is no “one size fits all” approach when it comes to our client’s health and their unique needs. We use many different tools to fully evaluate your personal current health status and determine what specific foundations you personally need to balance.
Nutritional Therapy Tools (for all clients)
- Initial health history form and health history interview
- Food Journal Analysis
- Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire (NAQ) – a detailed assessment questionnaire used to give further insight into your lifestyle habits, overall health, and current symptoms you are experiencing.
Nutritional Therapy Tools (for in-person clients and as needed)
- Functional Evaluation – a physical evaluation series of palpations and pressure points used to assess organ function as well as nutritional imbalances and deficiencies.
- Lingual Neural Testing (LNT) – a biofeedback technique used to determine what nutrients will work best for you at this time.
Using these tools and working together with you, we will develop a personalized diet and lifestyle plan to fit your individual needs to correct any nutritional imbalances that may be present and to improve your health.
